Good for
Anyone with written content or product photos who wants a short video for social platforms.
You'll need
A blog post, page or product photos you have rights to use, and an account with one or two of the tools below. Many have a free plan; a few are trial or paid only, and each tool line says which.
Rough time
About 30 to 60 minutes (a rough estimate).

What you'll end up with

A short vertical video built from material you already have: a few key lines from a blog post or page, your product photos or illustrations, a voice or music track and captions.

You are repackaging, not starting over. That is why this one can be quick.

Step 1: Pull three to five key lines

A short video has room for a hook and a few points, not the whole post. Pick the line that makes someone stop scrolling, then the two or three points that matter most, and a closing line.

  • Grammarly Free planWriting assistant that checks grammar, clarity and tone across apps, with generative AI features on paid plans.

Step 2: Get clean images

Remove busy backgrounds from product photos, crop to a vertical frame and make sure the images are sharp at phone size.

Step 3: Build the video from a template

Start from a vertical video template, drop in your images and lines, and set your brand colours and fonts once so the next video starts from the same look.

Step 4: Add a voice or music

A short voiceover can read your lines, or a music track can set the mood. Keep either low enough that on-screen text stays easy to follow.

  • Uppbeat Free planRoyalty-free music, sound effects and stock video for creators, with an AI playlist search; it does not generate music.

Step 5: Add captions and resize for each platform

Captions help muted viewers. Check where each platform places its own buttons and text, and keep your words clear of those areas.
