Privacy policy

AI Video Workflows (the "site") is operated by Motion Stack LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, 4539 N 22nd St, Suite 7745, Phoenix AZ 85016, USA ("we", "us"). This page explains what personal information we collect through the site, why, who handles it for us, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. To ask a question or make a request, email hello@aivideoworkflows.com.

In short: the site has no accounts, no ads and sets no cookies of its own. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused traffic counter that does not use cookies or local storage. We only collect personal information if you subscribe to the weekly email, send us a video request, or email us.

What we collect, and why

Just visiting

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. It does this to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, and it gives us aggregate traffic statistics from those server logs.

The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script that Cloudflare adds to our pages. It reports aggregate page views, the pages and referring sites visitors came from, country, and page-load speed. Cloudflare says it does not use cookies or local storage for this, and does not fingerprint visitors to build analytics. Your browser contacts Cloudflare to load the script, so Cloudflare sees the usual technical request data, such as your IP address. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics tool, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not see who individual visitors are.

Weekly email

If you subscribe, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you the weekly email and to confirm your subscription. We use double opt-in: we send one confirmation email, and your address is added to our list only after you click the link in it. If you never click, your address is not added to our list. The confirmation link is signed and expires after 48 hours. To protect the form from abuse we also process your IP address (to run the Cloudflare Turnstile check and to limit repeated attempts), and we keep a one-way hash of your address, not the address itself, for up to one hour. We do not track opens or clicks in the newsletter.

Video request form

If you use the video request form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, what the video is for, rough length, deadline, an optional budget range, and any notes or links. We use it only to reply to you and to discuss and quote the project. The form sends the message to us as an email through Resend. We do not add you to the newsletter or any other list from this form, and we do not sell your information. Please don't put passwords or confidential information in the form.

Emailing us

If you email hello@aivideoworkflows.com, we receive your message and address through Cloudflare Email Routing and our Google (Gmail) mailbox. We use it to answer you.

Spam protection

The signup form and the video request form use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person. Turnstile receives your IP address and browser signals for that purpose, and loads when you open the video request page, and on the signup form only once you click into it.

Cookies and local storage

The site itself does not set cookies. Your browser's local storage holds one preference item set by this site: avw-theme (your light or dark choice). This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser at any time. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage. When the Turnstile check loads it may use short-lived browser storage of its own, as described in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy. Because we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking and do not sell or share your information, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change what we do.

Who handles your information for us

• Cloudflare: hosting, DNS, Cloudflare Web Analytics, the Turnstile spam check, and email forwarding for hello@aivideoworkflows.com.
• Resend: sends our emails and stores newsletter subscribers, and delivers video request notifications to us.
• Google (Gmail): our mailbox, where video requests and emails to hello@aivideoworkflows.com arrive.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. These providers are based in the United States and may process data there. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

• Server logs: kept by Cloudflare under its own retention policy.
• A signup you never confirm: no list entry; our hashed address expires within an hour; Resend's delivery log of the confirmation email is kept for up to 30 days.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your address marked "unsubscribed" so we don't email you again by mistake, and we delete it entirely if you ask.
• Video requests and emails to us: up to 12 months after our last contact with you. If we do paid work for you, we keep the related business and tax records for as long as the law requires. Resend keeps its copy of a request notification for up to 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link that takes effect right away. You can also email us to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland

Motion Stack LLC is the data controller. Our legal bases are your consent (newsletter; you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing), taking steps at your request (replying to a video request or a message), and our legitimate interests in running and securing the site and answering messages. You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your information, and to stop processing it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law

In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email address, IP address), information you gave us about a project (purpose, length, deadline, budget range, notes), and basic internet activity data through our host's logs. We use it for the purposes above. We do not sell or share personal information, including for cross-context advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to run the service. You can ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it or delete it, and you will not be treated differently for asking. You can use an authorized agent; we may need to verify your identity.

Children

The site is aimed at adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some countries). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, form submissions are checked on the server, and newsletter links are signed. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can.

Links to other sites

We link to tools and vendors. They have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices. Some links may be affiliate links. If you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network (for example PartnerStack, Impact or Partnerize) may set a cookie on their site to record that you came from us. We do not receive your personal information from them; we see only reports of sales and commissions. See our disclosure page for which links, if any, are affiliate links.

Changes

We will update this page when what we collect changes and change the date above. If a change is significant we will say so on the home page or by email to subscribers.
