AI Video Generation & Avatars
Kling AI vs Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance)
Short answer: Both are AI video models that turn text or images into clips with sound. Kling AI is a full app with a free Basic plan that gives credits monthly when you log in, plus paid memberships that add watermark removal and commercial use. Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's model for up to 30 seconds in one generation, with reference and editing controls; ByteDance sells it through the BytePlus API, and it also runs inside Dreamina and in other apps. Many creators use both: compare a few prompts in each before you commit to a plan.
Kling AI and Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance) are both listed here under AI Video Generation & Avatars. Kling AI: Kuaishou's AI video generator, now on Kling 4.0: 30-second clips, references with elements, and a free non-commercial tier. Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance): ByteDance's video model that makes clips up to 30 seconds with sound, guided by up to 50 image, video and audio references.
