Summary
Overview
Autodesk Flow Capture, formerly Moxion and PIX, is a cloud tool for digital dailies and review that connects a film or TV set with post-production. Autodesk says it captures on-set camera footage and delivers it in seconds, lets teams review and edit in real time across locations, and keeps project assets in one secure place.
Who it fits
It suits production teams, editors and VFX groups on film, TV and commercial work, where footage needs to move securely from camera to cloud and out to reviewers. Autodesk lists integrations with Flow Production Tracking, Flame and Avid Media Composer.
What the plans include
Autodesk shows no price for Flow Capture. It says the product is available only through its sales team and not through the autodesk.com checkout, and that a 30-day free trial is available. Contact Autodesk for plan details.
Limits and alternatives
Flow Capture is for capturing and reviewing footage, not for generating video or building VFX. Autodesk’s separate Flow Studio is the AI VFX tool. For lighter review and approval of video, Frame.io, Filestage and Dropbox Replay are listed here.

- Beginners who want a simple tool for client feedback on a small video project
- Anyone who needs a published price or self-serve checkout, since Autodesk sells it only through its sales team
Pricing
No public price: Autodesk says Flow Capture is sold only through its sales team, not on autodesk.com. A 30-day free trial is offered. As of Oct 2026, verify.
